Privacy policy
Your photos and videos
We send uploaded photos and your directions to KIE to create your requested video. KIE processes these inputs under its own data policies. Completed videos are saved in private Cloudflare R2 storage and served only to the account or browser that created them. We do not publish your uploads in a public gallery.
Accounts and essential cookies
We store your email, a securely derived password hash (for email accounts), verification tokens and session records. Google sign-in shares a verified email and account identifier with us, when available. Essential cookies maintain your account session or private guest video access.
Usage and payments
A hashed network address enforces the single free video allowance. Rate limits also use hashed addresses. If you purchase credits, Creem processes payment details; we store order and credit records, not card numbers.
Analytics
We use Pageview to understand page visits. Tracking excludes query strings, uploaded photos, directions, email addresses and video IDs. Referrers are reduced to their origin. API and account details are not sent in analytics events.
Retention and requests
Videos remain in storage until deleted. Guest access depends on keeping the original browser cookie. Sessions expire after seven days; email links after one hour. Contact hello@videoeffectai.com to request access or deletion, quoting a video ID if relevant. A minimal hashed usage record may be retained to prevent repeated free trials.
